In attendance were key customers, employees and support staff that helped establish this operation. Afterwards, the guests enjoyed lunch and traditional mariachi music for entertainment.

Mr. Carlos Arganda, the Director of Operations for the plant, conducted the tour. Included were the production areas for manufacturing processes including resin infusion, bladder molding, roll wrapping, wet layup, and precision composite assembly. Also toured were the climate-controlled area for clean manufacturing, the loading docks, and a new paint and grinding booth under construction.

Jim Gormican, CEO of Rock West Composites, presented information on the growth path for this international venture and how it supports expansion of US operations. “By opening this facility, we are able to reduce costs and that will help keep us competitive for certain types of programs. As we rapidly grow, it also allows our US divisions to focus on the development work at which they excel for Mexico, and it increases jobs in all locations. It’s a win/win.”  Read more…..
